Local Pastors including mine have. I have never had an issue with Mr. Stephens. I still do not have an issue with Mr. Stephens. I have an issue with homosexuality and it being in public schools. Changing the name, having a "good guy" over see it (good guys would not attach their name to this) does not cover up the fact of what is going on. No matter how you do it, it is a gay club in our public schools. So Blaondie ae you telling me that there is not going to be a Gay club at the high school? I didn't think so.

Google is your friend: www.gsanetwork.org/resources/start.html What is a Gay-Straight Alliance? A Gay-Straight Alliance (GSA) is a student-run club, typically in a high school, which provides a safe place for students to meet, support each other, talk about issues related to sexual orientation, and work to end homophobia. Many GSAs function as a support group and provide safety and confidentiality to students who are struggling with their identity as gay, lesbian, bisexual,transgender, or questioning. In addition to support, some GSAs work on educating themselves and the broader school community about sexual orientation and gender identity issues.
www.aclu.org/lgbt/youth/27893prs20070110.html ACLU Hails Settlement in White County, Georgia Gay-Straight Alliance Case (1/10/2007)
The case arose after White County High School announced the elimination of all noncurricular clubs shortly after the formation of the GSA. The ACLU brought a lawsuit against the school district in February 2006, claiming that the school officials violated the students’ rights under the federal Equal Access Act, which requires schools to provide equal treatment to all noncurricular clubs, along with other civil rights violations. In July of 2006, a federal judge issued a permanent injunction against the school, requiring it to allow the GSA and other school clubs to meet.
=====
Esseks added, “The Equal Access Act guarantees the rights of students to form all kinds of clubs – from GSAs to religious clubs – and students at White County High School now know they can exercise that right.”

We had one at our school. We called it "Chorus".
There isn't really much difference between a Gay Club and and any other - except for the sodomy.
Is nobody teaching kids that homosexuality is wrong, that every civilization which ever prospered (including the Greeks and Romans) was destroyed when it began tolerating public homosexuality... and that it will ruin a young person's life?
