There has been a recall on tomatoes. All tomatoes in our store have been pulled and should have been pulled in all stores. This recall is due to salmonella. When I saw this on the news it didnt show our state but we got a bulletin for our store to pull and recall all tomatoes. Oh NO. Thanks for letting us know. I bought several yesterday at BiLo. This is going to suck because we have to have tomatoes in the summer. The one year I didn't grow my own.

I read where maters from GA, NC and quite a few other locations are NOT in the recall... I bought some from Longs stand. I guess I will have to ask them where they get them. Hope my home grown do good this year!

Hope my home grown do good this year! That is true BB that tomatoes from Ga are not affected however, stores get them from other states. I dont know where our's come from but all Save A Lot stores have pulled all tomatoes. Dang now that is just hateful. It wasn't so bad when they recalled spinich who eats spinich anyway besides Popeye? Now everybody eats mater samwiches. It's gonna be a long time before we start getting garden maters. No mater and gas prices through the roof. Dang-it!!!

Well we are going to go ahead and eat ours. If we die, who wants the Frenchies and my kitties? They will need lots of love.

I stopped at Longs produce where I bought maters and they confirmed theirs were from Georgia... I'm eating the ones I got, too!
