Getting a new porch, a bigger porch. BUT it's only so I can teach Tulip how to spit (she don't know how). You have to have a porch to spit off of. Bee, I can whistle and I can spit. Daddy taught me both! I can also do a pretty good turkey call. Don't know how big or how high off the ground your new porch is going to be, but you may have to keep the men folks off of it while the ladies are present. All the men in my family seem to have a have a thing for the outdoors and and a game called "p*s*ing for distance"!!! LOL!

Grumpy is working on his distance, wanting to compete in the Olympic event. What is it about that? When we see a big old house with an upstairs and a huge veranda, that is the first thing he say's.

The men in our family are the same way. When we fuss about it, they saw we could do it in reverse if that will make you happier.

Oh Bee, you will have to bring him over to my house. I am sure you did NOT notice, but upstairs, off of the library, I have a big balcony that grumpy could use!! I have to admit I have never seen my husband pee and I have no idea why this subject is under "dance of joy" I am happy today cause I get to play bridge for the first time in 2 weeks.

Because we started out discussing my new front porch.
And you know how we are, one thing always leads to another.

Hey if youre still awake... any idea what the real actual normal customary commission is for a real estate agent who sells a house? 6% and a few are 7%. I think with things as bad as they are they should reduce their commission. We just sold a house and lost $35,000 on it. The market really stinks.

WOM, in Florida the standard real estate commission is 7%, but that does not all go to the realtor. The listing office and the sales office usually get 3.5% each and then they split it with the selling agent and the listing agent.

Every house we listed was 7% but we have sold them all ourself and still paid the commission!! I would do a dance of joy if we got any lookers at the house we are building!! Heck, I will do the dance of joy cause I woke up this morning!!!
