The floor of my porch is finished.
Last night I was dancing for joy on my new porch.
However as I went out this morning I forgot there isn't a step-down anymore (after 17 years of stepping down) and almost fell.
Rails up Saturday, new chairs (I bought 3 years ago) on the porch and I got somewhere to sit and read and teach Tulip how to spit.
I haven't been this excited since I got my side-by-side frigidaire with ice in the door. The Sears people thought I had lost my mind I was so happy with it.
Half is covered and half is open and I have room for lot's of BFF's to come over and sit and rock.

Just don't drip on the hand railing.
We have decided to put lattice up around it and I can plant morning glories next year
It will look good to train them to grow over the edge of the roof and hang down.

Cat is doing much better. When I walked outside this morning he was able to run up to me. As of late he has had difficulty standing up and walking. |

I just got back from the spec house my husband is building and it is the most beautiful house inside that I have ever seen. It has everything.

on a creek too!
With a master bedroom with it's own separate sitting room and fireplace. A master closet as big as most bed rooms. 3 bedrooms, 3 baths, 2 powder rooms, media room. 2 complete kitchens, a big rec room, wine cellar. A large pantry in kitchen, plus a computer room off the kitchen. Heated tile floors. Breakfast room area. 3 fireplaces with build in shelves.Anderson doors and windows, 2 hot water heaters, instant on hot water. jetted tub in master. 12 foot ceilings, most of them treyed ceilings. 2 marble fireplaces and one in stone in the rec room. Gas grill on tiled outdoor decks. Waterfall in foyer. (to be built)
It's a beauty!! If anyone wants to see it, let me know!!

coosa, all your husband's homes are beautiful. many realtors think he is the best builder in town. i am one of them. is this the house on sharptop? i would love to sell it!!!!

Well, thank you whine!! Please sell it, we need lookers!! This house is in Young Cane Creek subdivision. Pass Jimmy's metal roofing on the 4 lane going west, turn right at the Pony Connector. Turn right again, and then turn left into the subdivision. Turn left again and then right and go to lot 85. He has the house open when ever any one is working there for lookers.
It also has a home owners association and for $300 a year you have amenities like a clubhouse, heated pool, exercise room, coffee shop and tennis courts. The view is fantastic!
