Took Boo to the Peachtree vet. Got him an office visit, a shot, 4 weeks worth of meds and some antibiotics for $50.00.
I guarantee that no one single vet in Blairsville would let you in the door just for $50.00.
I take all my animals to Cranford, he isn't out to make a killing, just a living. He has seen all my animals for years and is great.

He is in Murphy, N.C. in the Peachtree area.
Turn at the red light at the hospital and go for about 2 miles and he is on the left.
He doesn't do the unnecessary garbage like other vet's, he treats the problems and is a great guy. Everyone would have probably wanted blood work and etc. and such.

Speaking of pets, I found a neat website for our pets! It's www.petplace.comLot's of good info, links to pet related things like pet insurance, medicines, treatments, ideas, toys, and over 10,000 Veterinarian Approved Articles! Even cute pics and videos! You can also sign up for a daily newsletter. I did and I haven't received any spam or junk mail. And since this is the frugal topic, it's free!

I agree QB re Dr. Cranford. He has been in the same trailer since the mid-1980s. No overhead to pay for, just great vet care at a reasonable fee. A few years ago it cost me a shocking $250 for routine vaccines and 'add-ons' for my 2 cats from a local Blairsville vet. I also became offended by her office staff. They knew perfectly well who I was, yet everytime I went in they would ask if I was a client. There was a snobbiness that I didn't like. Although the drive is a little farther, I went back to Dr. Cranford several years ago. Glad I did.

I sent Gary off this morning to get a free breakfast burrito at Wendy's this morning. I hope it was good!! I did a pinecone and an nfo survey yesterday! If anyone is interested in getting points (redeemed for cash eventually) from nfo, just let me know.
