Howdy Every one I was informed that the voting server, the one that counts the votes, will not be moved from its location to the Jury room as it has been done in the past, on election night, per the Georgia Secretary of State. I talked to them about this and they gave me this web site for the rules on moving the server. Talked to one of the ladies on the election board and they are going to try to have it where the vote counting can be watched on the big screen in the jury room. Here is the web site where I got the information. This web site contains a lot of information on the voting procedure and equipment. rules.sos.state.ga.us/docs/183/1/12/02.pdfRules on Moving the server. (e) Access to GEMS servers. 1. The room in which the GEMS server is located shall be locked at all times when the server is not directly under the supervision of the election superintendent or the election superintendent's designee. Lock and key access to the room where the GEMS server is located shall be limited to the county election superintendent; members of the county board of elections; the election supervisor, if any; personnel of the county election superintendent's office designated by the county election superintendent; building maintenance personnel; and emergency personnel. Building maintenance personnel shall have access to the room in which the GEMS server is located only to the extent necessary to carry out their maintenance duties. The election superintendent shall maintain on file at all times in the office of the election superintendent a complete and up-to-date list of all maintenance personnel with access to the room in which the GEMS server is located. Emergency personnel shall have access to the room in which the GEMS server is located only as necessary in the event of an emergency and only for the duration of such emergency condition. 2. The GEMS server shall remain locked at all times when not in use. The key or keys to the GEMS server shall remain in the possession of the election superintendent or the designee of the election superintendent at all times. (g) Voting system handling requirements. 3. The GEMS server shall not be moved or relocated for educational or training purposes. Should it become necessary to relocate the GEMS server or any of its components from one facility to another, the election superintendent shall notify the Secretary of State in writing of the reason for the relocation and the proposed new location. Under no circumstances shall the GEMS server or any of its components be relocated unless and until written authorization for the relocation is received from the Secretary of State except in the event of an emergency situation beyond the control of the election superintendent. Thanks Gene Nelson

This "vote stealing" is bigger than Liemore. Under the present system votes are counted in secret, out of sight, inside a machine. This leaves no way to audit anything! I keep posting and telling you repeatedly, that people and institutions who have credentials beyond question, institutions like Purdue University, have DEMONSTRATED that when the ballot is programmed into the machine, the election outcome can also be "PROGRAMMED" so no matter how many voters, vote which way.....THE RESULT IS PRE-DETERMINED!!!!
NOW DAM IT.... You have already seen the result, with the percentage so boldly predicted on the splost vote. And, still you plot, plan, campaign as if the votes will be on paper ballot and publicly counted.
Why don't you check out "BLACK BOX VOTING"? Why don't you believe me?
If the powers that be want Limore to be in office, he will remain in office, not because he was legitimately re-elected but, because they chose for him to remain in office and there is not a dam thing you can do about it! Why do you blindly keep on doing the same thing expecting a different outcome?

Yeh Central Vote Tabulation: Redux & Plea by understandinglife Wed Nov 24, 2004 at 08:50:48 AM PDT On 12 Nov 2004 I posted a Diary entitled "Central Vote Tabulation: What We Should Know and DO" www.dailykos.com/story/2004/11/12/104750/99Please focus on the following text from the Complaint to Contest Election: Susan Rose Pynchon vs. Volusia County Canvassing Board and Ann McFall: "18. According to a statement by the Supervisor of Elections on November 17, 2004, the GEMS computer is not networked, and is "stand alone." The furnished computer logs show evidence of at least two attempts to remotely access the GEMS central tabulator, which is claimed to be secure. A computer screen shot printout on November 17, 2004 (found in the trash) shows that the GEMS computer at that time had two networked hard drives. 19. Plaintiff is reasonably concerned that access to the memory cards and voting machine tapes is presently not restricted, and that the opportunity for tampering with that critical evidence exists. (continued) * understandinglife's diary :: :: * Plaintiff accordingly requests that This Honorable Court immediately order the Supervisor of Elections to seal and sequester all memory cards and voting machine tapes pertaining to or used during the November 2, 2004 general election in Volusia County, during the pendency of this Cause." In my original Diary I requested consideration and action, to whatever extent considered reasonable by the dKos community. I repeat that request now, and hope that we can leverage what Susan Pynchon and her colleagues in Volusia FL, in collaboration with Bev Harris and her team, have launched. Specifically, I urge all of you to mount an effort to identify the 'central tabulation centers' in each State. And, through whatever legal mechanisms are required, to request and obtain records of those persons having physical access to the systems as well as telecom logs [spanning at least Oct and Nov 2004] of all data/voice communications connections to the hosting centers. I make this request not in the spirit of "Kerry over Bush" but in the spirit of all the Diaries I have posted here in the past 21 days -- our franchise is broken; it is Our responsibility to fix it, now. We have not had a valid election, because almost no one can answer the simple question -- "If you voted, do you know If and How your vote was recorded"? So, in the spirit of "Prove My Vote Counts, Now" I urge all of you to bring items 18 and 19 of the Complaint to the attention of every State SoS, every State AG, every Congressperson [Federal and State], every reporter, every citizen you know personally. We must repair our franchise, now, with the same focused intensity and zeal as those folk in the Ukraine are demonstrating to themselves and the world. Pointsoflight has a dKos Diary on the full text and comments posted at: www.dailykos.com/story/2004/11/24/10148/692Peace and Happy Thanskgiving.

The below mountain of evidence will demonstrate that the 2004 election fiasco had way too many “irregularities” for the late-Tuesday shift from Kerry (seen winning by 3 percent and more in exit polls and many other data) to Bush to possibly be an innocent coincidence. This election is not the first to be hacked. In November 2002, Georgia Democratic Governor Roy Barnes led by 11 percent and Democratic Senator Max Clelland was in front by 5 percent just before the election—the first ever conducted entirely on touch-screen electronic machines, and counted entirely by company employees, rather than public officials—but mysterious election day swings of 16 percent and 12 percent defeated both of these popular incumbents. In Minnesota, Democrat Walter Mondale (replacing beloved Senator Paul Wellstone, who died in a plane crash), lost in an amazing last moment 11 percent vote swing recorded on electronic machines. Convenient glitches in Florida aided Jeb Bush in the general election and defeated Janet Reno in the primary election. There is also reason to believe that North Carolina’s Senate race may have been hacked. Complete article>>>> www.onlinejournal.com/evoting/112004Waldman/112004waldman.html

It is connected to a Jew owned outfit in florida. I fail to see the relavance of this and it detracts from your arguement. I share your concerns about electonic voting and have followed the subject for some time.

DANG! Soaks, I want to be considered "relevant"
How to Steal an Election With the Help of FISA Posted on Jul 2, 2008
There’s a lot more to object to in the new FISA bill than just retroactive immunity for the telecoms. It seems that the regulation of surveillance is still hopelessly out of date. How is a court supposed to handle complex algorithms and countless terabytes of data? Truthdig contributor Elliot Cohen warns that the new law could conceivably allow the theft of the 2008 presidential election.
That’s on top of the fact that it gives telecoms a pass and could be “tantamount to a blank check to invade the privacy of every American citizen.”
BuzzFlash:
Without rigorous judicial oversight and monitoring of surveillance procedures, the Bush administration will, in the next months, have a timely window of opportunity to intercept its Democratic opponents’ email messages and phone calls according to self-serving algorithms that screen for names, addresses, and other indicators that are correlated to these individuals. During the Nixon administration technology was not so sophisticated and Nixon’s Burglars had to break into Democratic National Headquarters in order to plant a bug. This can now be done simply by implanting the appropriate algorithm into an NSA computer network.
Second, electronic voting is essentially tied to the phone lines because all votes cast in individual precincts must pass through the phone lines on their way to be tabulated at the main tabulation center. This makes it possible to electronically reconfigure votes before they even arrive at a central tabulation point by embedding the appropriate software in the lines, thereby destroying the prospect of a fair election outcome.
This case resembles “black box” voting where once the votes are cast, it is impossible to see what happens to them. Those who have seen the danger of this have sought to create a paper trail that could provide a means of verifying an election outcome. But now we may be faced with a potentially more ominous strain of the black box problem—votes that disappear into the void of cyberspace only to reappear at the other end of a wire in an altered state. In this digital age, independent inspection of voting machines and careful monitoring of election practices may therefore prove insufficient when cyberspace is not also safeguarded.

Iowa Caucus tallied by Israeli Defense Firm
ELRON ELECTRONICS: The Israeli Defense Company[/size] That Tallies the Iowa Caucus Released by Christopher Bollyn on December 31st, 2007 at 8:10am The Iowa caucus is only a few days away and the nation’s attention will be directed to the results, which signify the beginning of the U.S. presidential race. But does anyone watch who tallies the results of the Iowa caucus? The Iowa caucus results were tallied in 2004 by a company that is headed by a man whose company was bought by Elron Electronics, the Israeli defense firm. I suspect that it will be the same this year. Don’t expect to see any grassroots political activists doing the tally in Iowa . The Israeli defense establishment takes care of that part of the American “democratic” election process.openpresswire.com/2008/01/03/iowa-caucus-tallied-by-israeli-defense-firm/
