I wanted to let you ladies know about this stuff I found up in Ellijay.I stock up on it when I come to the mountains. It's called"Instant Gourmet Crown Mulling Spices".I don't know if you can find it anywhere else because this is the only place I've ever seen it.You can use it in foods or your favorite drink.I use it in apple cider. The guy running the store had samples of this served hot mixed with applecider and it was really good so I decided to buy some and have been enjoying it ever since. The name of the store is "Misty Hollow Antiques & Collectables" and their located at 34 North Main Street,Ellijay,Ga. I bought something similar to that at the Biltmore in Asheville, it is yummy, but I've not seen it anywhere else. Cabin, have you tried to find it online?

I never thought about looking it up on the internet.I just did and I see that I could get this stuff for $1.35 a pack.I think we paid $3.00's a pack for it in Ellijay.I'll have to see what the cost of shipping and handling is on this stuff if I try to order it.Here is a link for the" Crown Mulling Spice". crownspices.cameoez.com/Scripts/PublicSite/

I think I was wrong on that price cause now I see it at $3.25 a pack on the internet,so I would probably be better off buying this stuff when I'm up that way.
I was just wondering if anybody in here had ever seen this stuff in ya'lls area.

I purchased mulling spices at a store in Dawsonville.
In the Fall I will sometimes put some in a pot of boiling water just to make the house smell yummy and like I am cooking something really great.

I like the mulling spices Jason has at Sunrise, but I like sugar-free mulling spices better! Glad to know that. It's good with red, red wine.

At my 1 day herb class, we learned how to flavor wine with fresh fruit.
We also learned how to suspend an organic orange over some Grand Marinier, the alcohol is absorb into the orange and them causes the essential oils in the orange to drip out. It takes about 11 day's.
We also used dried herbs to make dream pillows and made stinging nettle tea.
