Justin, you ran a good campaign and I commend you for a job well done. I think you have a very bright future in local politics. I ask you on behalf of the voters of the county, go to the commissioners meetings, keep kissing babies and getting your name out there and try again next time. Good luck!

Thank-you Shortcircuit. You are very kind. I have been working for years to bring some positive change to the county. At first I was inspired now I'm just tired. It is time for others to step up. We must learn that we cannot keep doing the same thing over and over again and expect a different result. We will see that in November.
A little while longer and then I am riding for the sunset.

In the recent Union County voting for commissioner,Two Hundred Seventy Five more people chose BRAND X than the number who cast their vote for their very own Lamar Paris. Paris has had "bad press" bought and paid for by knowledgeable citizens accusing him of lying and flip flopping.
The "BRAND X" choice indicates a majority of voters in Union County want another commissioner. ANYBODY BUT LAMAR PARIS!!!!

Oooooh, I found out what Bluemoon said before the edit... Not good. A little graciousness goes a long way. Otherwise you just seem like an arrogant jerk. I don't know if moon's comment had anything to do with it but...
When I was riding on towards the beckoning sunset, suddenly St. Jude, the patron saint of lost causes appeared to me and bid me to turn round.
So I won't be going anywhere. Instead I will lead my small but hearty band of 390 "misfits" on a desperate charge to save our county! Ride with me to victory!

There you go get that tail out from between your legs and stand up and fight for all those that supported you. Losing a battle does not mean that you lose the war. That is unless you lay down and quit. If you want to make a difference the candidates who didn't win the race can be just effective out of office as they would be in office. Just imagine all the possibilities you guys have out there. Where there is a will there is a way! ;D Think outside the box!  |
