Is anyone actually doing what they thought they would be, when they graduated high school?
Not me.

NO. I went to college (for free) to become a high school teacher. I got married my junior year and never finished. Now, I wish I had gone to business school to become a financial planner. But I am very happy with my life. My best job was as a bookkeeper working at a small savings and loan.

I was going to be an attorney but kept dropping out and going back to college. Gave it up completely for a great paying (at the time) job in the music business. Sometimes I regret not following through but obviously not enough or I would have gone back and finished by now!

Well, I've always wanted to be a writer, just a bit more famous!
When I was in high school, I was the one who said - "Nope, no kids for me!" So, that way definitely off! But I don't regret it in any way.
I'll say this much - I've got great kids, a great husband, and many things to be thankful for, but like it says on one of my daughters t-shirts...
THIS is NOT the life I ordered!

I wanted to go to school for photography, but that didn't happen. I never really thought about what I wanted to do, except that I knew I wanted to get married and have a family eventually. First time was just a test, got it right the second time. When I was still in school I envisioned my married life more like Samantha on Bewitched (not the witch part, lol), just the house, the neighborhood, etc. That didn't happen, even tho Mr. C has made a very nice life for me. ;D

I honestly wanted to be a go go dancer over at a nightclub in Daytona Beach. They would hire you if you fit the costume and I did, but my first husband would not let me do it. Imagine dancing and getting paid for it!!

Kinda sort of. When I graduated I dreamed of being a wife and mother. So I accomplished that goal. As a younger child I had a different occupation in mind. After being married for 15 years I decided that I would begin my college career to fulfill that dream. So, with the love and support from my husband and children I did just that. I guess you could say that I have reached well beyond my high school plans and dreams. God has really blessed me in my life!

Good one Summer.
I wanted to join the Coast Guard but my mother wouldn't sign for me, I graduated when I was 17. I wanted to run patrol on drug runners on the ocean.
I would also like to be a librarian. A big city library with ton's of books.
Never in my wildest dreams did I think I would become interested in herbs, homemade soaps and other nature interactions. Have chickens and definitely not a garden. I hated working in the garden when I was little. But I got one now.
