Been known to vote for people I did not like personally, simply because they were smart prepared and the best for the office. Public office should not be a popularity contest. Service is a profession not a home coming dance. Only started voting for a smattering of Democrats since living here. Most Democrats here work for the people not DNC, although one seems to be taking a few "suggestions from Washington". Would never vote for a Dem for the White House.
