Good luck! I wish I could afford to buy a house in Florida to live in during the winter. Me and cold weather doesn't get along very well anymore.

Oh tulip, I sure wish you could sell your house and move up here. You would have loved the party last night. It is amazing that a group of people could just meet over the internet and become such good friends!! I am crossing my fingers for you!

tessa, i am not getting excited about today, however, i am a little hopeful that at least now people are starting to look. i am trying to talk Mr. tulip into renting something up there long term, but i am not getting anywhere with that. our neighbor left here 8 pm last night. i am soooooooo jealous. Keep talking to him!

It only takes one looker. we have always been lucky and sold our house to the first or second person that has looked at it. I think the most important thing is to have a decent price. we have never tried to make a killing out of our spec houses! As a matter of fact, the last small house we sold, the r.e. agent listed it for $20,000 more than we thought we should get and they paid that. However, those days are over. Just be willing to bargain!

Good luck, Tulip! Please keep us posted!!!!!!!!!! Remember, all it takes is that one person! I know you are discouraged right now, and that is completely understandable, but think positive! Maybe you'll send positive energy to the potential buyer! ;D

I doubt that your neighbor will ever sell his house for that price.

I think people need to get realistic about house prices. Land prices too? I was buying new view lots for $32,000 a few years ago. Now, everyone wants $100,000 and more for mountain view land!!
