The opening ceremony of the Olympic Games is on right now - is anyone excited about the games anymore? I don't hear much talk about it.

I haven't really paid them any attention since 1996. Now if NASCAR or NHRA were olympic sports you bet i'd be watching!

love them! I love the winter one's more because I love ice skating.
Does anyone feel like there will be a terriorist attack at this one happening? Hope not, but it could happen. I sure sometimeman has some crazy conspiracy theory???

I never thought of a terrorist attack - I guess I forget about that ugliness sometimes. I thought the opening ceremony was magnificent although the focus on children was puzzling as it seemed they were making an attempt to say "we need a better world for the children" when in reality they do not treat children that well in terms of labor and pollution

AMEN!! I would just be happy with low 70's. That would feel like winter compared to this weather.

If I knew how to make a picture under my name like some people do I'd put a snowy picture there. I think there's a thread on it somewhere - maybe I'll read up on it.

Watched the opening ceremony. It was so long..
I like the Winter Olympics also- the bob sled run is my favorite.
