Not so, Soaks. The American people have rarely ever chosen a Senator for President. Two years as Governor is worth more than 8 years as Senator, much less Obama's two years, most of which he has spent campaigning.
Now I believe that one can be a good president without a lot of political experience beforehand, if you're smart enough. But, when Obama put down Palin's experience, a silly thing to do, he opened himself up to being beaten with the Far Right Yard Stick.
Spin, spin, and spin some more.
Obama's been the target of this Far-Right Yard Stick long before Palin was dumped on the national scene.
Why is what everyone else says spin? That's no way to have a logical debate. Why isn't what you say spin? The attacks on Palin is the spin. When the GOP responded, the Obama camp didn't seem able to handle it.
I see that a lot around here. People criticize others than when that person responds in kind, the original antogonizer pulls the woe is me card and says why are you attacking me!
The only reason Guiliani and company made fun of Obama's community organizer experience is because Obama himself mocked Palin's experience as a Mayor of a small town.

I would be interested in knowing how you came to this conclusion.
Two years as Governor is worth more than 8 years as Senator,...
Is there a Book of Rules somewhere for this?
...much less Obama's two years, most of which he has spent campaigning.

Only in America
Can a kid without a cent
Get a break and maybe grow up to be President

If it's an opinion it's spin, if it's a fact it's logical.
Why is the refutiation (fact checking) of a statement seen as an attack?
The only reason Guiliani and company made fun of Obama's community organizer experience is because Obama himself mocked Palin's experience as a Mayor of a small town.
This seems like a chicken or egg quibble.
Again there seems to be some secert Book of Rules that defines a value for life's experience.
