i see those us kids get expensive gifts. that winchester has an good price, the henry is cheaper but looks/works fine.
yes better dont give little red an semi auto ;D
that here remember me on my first .22, an brazilian copy of the remington 66, black stock with nickel parts, still have that.
surprisingly i did not see any or many used cheap .22 on stores, fleamarkets etc.
BTW, today, in cobb, i was the first time in an toysarus wow, ya would be kid again, amazing store. swisssilvia got sompthing stuffed with nice furr, she like that.

Roger, I have a Remington Nylon 66! Love that rifle - pretty accurate, lightweight, easy to handle. Love it! My problem is that I have weakness for Winchester!

Toys R Us is the coolest place ever, it doesn't matter how old you are.
Red is nervous around guns. She was hunting with her dad during black powder and his gun back fired on him and it scared her, so she prefers a bow. If she get's a .22 she might get more adjusted to it.
Hubby had a gun that needed touching up so I based coated the stock with black and we got leaves from outside and laid them in a pattern on it and sprayed them green and other camo colors alternating leaves, turned out really well.
As for expensive, a good gun is more of an investment than an expensive toy that they will grow out of and it ends up donated or in a yard sale.

got it, glad you dont usa arms as an toy.
dont worry, after show her how easy, safe, smokeless an .22 fire she will love it. if i had my stuff over here we could use an soundmoderator, that turns any 2 into an non recoil, non bang arms that is to shot without earplugs, verry nice, spl during the hot summer.
the toysarus was small, theres may be an bigger one in atlanta somewhere, have to go. that must be an great place to work! was an bit confused on the restroom, they had boy and girl whritten on it LOL
currently i have 3 rem 66 style ones, two brazil and one brown stock original, back then the clones where made nice. iu did rework the trigger assy for get the kreep/hard pull out, easy to do if ya figured out, the assy is an bit on the complex side. and threated the barrels for reasons mentioned above.
so, in usa theres no law, say in germany, for teach minors how to use an firearm, in an save manner? there its banned for under 18.
i saw that movie too with the leave painted over, did work that on an knifesheath.
to be an kid, in usa, with an little money, or spoiled as paris hilton, that must be paradise! so many diffent things to get, stores, online etc.
sure the selection is an tough descision, for the parents too.
ok for the drive me crazy teenager here, its easy, an switch of the tree in the back yard will do fine LOL.

A hunters' safety course is required before hunting, but a firearm safety class is not law.

When I was a kid, santa use to leave me an apple, an orange and a bunch of walnuts in my stocking. I always wondered why, cause I did not like any of those things!! Kids get a lot these days!

Just finished browsing the PBteens catalog. I can't believe they charge that much for items. Even though they are cool looking, they are really high.
Got a few ideas for lilred's room but only found one thing I am getting from them.

I need to find someone who has an embroidery machine. I want one but can't justify it.
