Let us remember that both Senator McCain and Senator Obama chose to remain senators while running for the presidency. Some candidate choose to step down.
Since they are both still drawing their salaries as senators of the USA, I'm sure their constituents want them to be where they belong, in DC, until the economic bill is passed. There will be plenty of time for rhetorical debate once the nation's economy is paid it's due.
University of Miss students, such a shame they miss a photo op. Once they get in the real world where their livelihoods are on the line they may think differently. Maybe they should ask mom and dad how they feel since they are more than likely footing the bill for the kids education.

I heard it mentioned that the University of Mississippi has 5-mil invested in preparing for this little shindig. I was also reminded that Presidential Campagians have been run during times of war, to suggest that our national attention can't encompass more than one thing at a time is truely sad. And as far as where each candidate "belongs", these negoiations began many days prior to the candidates arrival on the scene.
