So now ole Normie Poo is "concerned" since he says that Tom Jones said that he will restrict the NGN from having access to the Sheriff's Dept. WRONG- Tom's letter says "Mr. Cooper, I want to be very clear about this point. If elected Sheriff, I would never restrict the public or media from having full and open access to the Union County Sheriff’s Office. An open sheriff’s office has been one of my main campaign promises. But for myself, I will not grant you any interviews now or later." Since Norm is so concerned maybe he should think back to what his buddy Lamar Floyd Paris did to the Sentinel. I'm personally a Scott Stephens supporter but I'm very tempted to now support Jones just because of the fact that he had the balls to call Norm out.

It's a completely different situation you brainless twit! The Sentinel isn't a real newspaper to begin with and Lamar was completely in the right to ignore them. He should have done it from the start.
The fact that Jones refuses to talk to Cooper shows his true colors. Cooper is a well respected, award winning journalist who is known across the state for the fairness and accuracy of his reporting. Who the Hell does Tom Jones think he is to disrespect him that way??
People don't get away with that around here. Cooper is a REAL MAN and anyone with a brain knows better than to cross him and face his justice. He showed Tom Jones what's what in todays paper. That should be a lesson to any other dimwits that forget who is the voice of Union County!

I'm still undecided, heck I might just write in Bear Baxter and be done with it. I was a staunch supporter of Scott until ole Norm started his crap and Scott went along with him. Well Norm, I guess you thought that you'd make Scott look like a goody two shoes and get more people to vote for him but it backfired didn't it? I'm going to make a prediction right here and now: Next weeks paper will be the last one before the election, my prediction is that all the democrats ads will be near the front of the paper like usual and the republicans ads, especially Tom Jones' will be near the back. And I'm sure Norm will go running to show Lamar and Scott their competitors ads so they can rebut them before the paper is printed. It really wouldn't surprise me one bit if Norm "forgets" to print ads from Cook or Jones next week. It has happened before.
