Norm is just showing his @$$ again because Stephen is a republican, notice only the dems were on the front page, typical stupidity crap from him, why would you put the results of the clerk of the court above the state house representative? Only for political bias, gee what a surprise.
I've been to all Allison's speech's and I don't recall anything about a cap on property assessments??? That's not apart of his job and I'm sure he knows that.
Now that he's been elected, you should consider coming to one of his town hall meeting once a month. That's the best way to get the answer to your questions rather than trying to spread inuendo. Just a thought. Congrats Stephen, I know you'll do a great job for us!!

I've been to all Allison's speech's and I don't recall anything about a cap on property assessments??? That's not apart of his job and I'm sure he knows that. Taken from his website, http://www.allison08.com: "With property taxes escalating in our district, we need a Representative that will fight to keep more money in our citizens' pockets, rather than in the government coffers. Stephen will fight to place a cap on property assessments in interested counties, while allowing citizens to vote locally to remove the cap if so needed by their community. Other counties have already been given this opportunity, and it is time that our own representative allow the voters to at least have some say in their escalating property tax bills." Congrats Stephen, I know you'll do a great job for us!! He'll do fine, I've known him for years and he's honest.

I look forward to Allison in the house. Hopefully Union County Voters will give him a chance and support him in 2010 as it will take a while for him to get adjusted to what needs to be done to get legislation passed that will help us in the mountains.
It was a shame that it took Towns, White and Rabun counties to get him in office. It's a shame that the majority of Union County voters bought Charles Jenkins story for so long.

It's obvious that our buddy Norman doesn't like Stephen after that "viewpoint" he wrote to himself. It's also obvious that he doesn't like those of us who post here either! It's nice to know that Mr. Editor cares enough about us to read all the posts here.

Representative Allison actually visited neighborhoods. His updated website looks good. It appears he actually wants to serve the people.
Why is he opposed to I-3?
