CONSERVATIVE COUNTRY COALITION Does anyone know what it is? Does anyone know what they do? If you don't, you can blame our sorry newspaper for not informing the public. Just because Justin Melick didn't bow down to Norman when he worked for the Sentinel, an excellent charity has been forced almost into obscurity. What they do is sponsor events to collect donations to help the families that are left behind when the spouse's are sent off to Afghanistan or Iraq. The NGN won't mention the events and last year according to Justin, even had the gaul to accept money for an add and then didn't run the add. Norman is such a vindictive jerk that he wouldn't mention the dinners where we had the honor of US Senators and Congressmen and several times state senators and legislators come to our little burg because they believed in the importance of the cause. People, we have really let down our community when an event like this goes unattended because our own newspaper is allowed to miss-inform and un-inform it's citizens. Justin had a good program tonight with plenty of refreshments. What he didn't have was people attending. We, that attended were all ashamed of our fellow citizens for not joining us for such a good cause. We really have to do something about this Pravda style newspaper. You people that truly didn't know about the event can make amends by donating or make a check to CCC or Conservative Country Coalition and mail it to Justin Melick 201 Young Harris Street suite 3 PMB 258 Blairsville, Ga. 30512

I don't want your money, but if fairplay wants to put in plug for the CCC, that's cool. I ran across the website below. There is a wealth of information. I'm interested in comments about conservative values and how to work together, instead of fighting each other. If fairplay doesn't mind, we can discuss conservative values here. As the website states... *There is no leader *There is no membership list or dues *There is no headquarters *There are no meetings *There is no organization or membership card *Does not have or collect any money or donations conservativecoalition.homestead.com/

no leader, no headquarters, no meetings? No wonder Mr. Cooper is leery of it. He is a part of reputable organizations and is a well respected community leader, so maybe people should keep their mouths shut instead of embarrasing themselves by trying to tear him down. Its not his fault that the community doesn't trust certain people.

Let's clear something up here before bluemoon and others try to cloud the site.
Justin Melick has a clean remarkable reputation for being a Christan and a lives his life in an exemplary fashion.
He ran for commissioner at a young age and lost graciously. He slung no mud at anyone. Something the rest of the candidates should take some lessons from.
He started this Conservative Country Coalition four years ago and has funded it out of his own pocket. It is not part of the Conservative Coalition and bluemoon knows it full well.
He has been complemented by several members of our US congress for his unselfish efforts and has the gratitude of many of our active young military family's that are protecting us at this very moment.
The only person that I know of that dislikes Justin is pooper so I am awfully suspicious of anyone trying to sabotage such a unselfish effort. Norman tried to do away with the Memorial day parade and he is obviously trying to discredit Justin's efforts.
This is a good and needed cause and the young man needs some help from our fellow citizens. Please contribute, I have.

Good luck on your CCC. You gave a party and Cooper is to blame for poor attendance. What a powerful man he is.
I didn't mean to confuse it with the conservative coalition. I don't have a dog in the Cooper and Justin fight and I'm not sure what it has with this thread. So, I'm 10-3...

The above referenced website has nothing to do with the group I am associated with.
People are busy this time of year. Furthermore every event I have attended this year in Blairsville even for very large organizations have had severe attendance problems. It is a sign of the state of the local economy.
And after the election, many are left without HOPE and not thinking about others right now. Things will be better in the summer. Save your money till then.

Fairplay maybe you should seek advice from Justin before you post and try to blame Norman or NGN for the attendance at this CCC function or whatever. You do more harm for any function Fairplay than any group or person could ever do.Impressed with your post Justin.Just goes to show Justin can think and post for himself just fine Fairplay.

I understand Fairplay's disappointment as it turned out to be a really good show - a testament to the perfomers, not to me. And Fairplay has a real concern for our servicemen and women, which I really appreciate. Norman is to blame for the cold weather, the economy, and world hunger, ( )but this one was all my fault. I should have known an event wouldn't fly this time of year. Last summer, the NGN forgot to run our ad, but we still managed to have over 100 people. All challenges can be overcome. -Justin
