Or ironman or whoever you are, thanks for the rant about us in the viewpoints last week! I got a good laugh out of it and I even shed a few tears from laughing so hard.

Well, I personally would like to point out something good about Norman Cooper. I might get slammed for this, but it is honest. 1) He started a missing person site off his NGN site for our tri county area. 2) He met with me personally on his coverage on Austin Hooper, and although we did not agree on everything he was very respectful, and explained his views plainly. 3) He ran Austin's pictue for 2 weeks on the front page and ever since has ran his picture and his name in 2 different places in the paper. I do appreciate that! Norman Cooper might not see eye to eye with all of us, but he is not a monster. Now I am sure this post will draw out ugly remarks, ubt it won't be the only time we have disagreed.

Oh yeah one more thing...... I submitted a viewpoint given him kudos and he has not printed it, so he does not always toot his own horn.

At first he refused to print anything about austin, I'm glad he changed his mind. Just like all of us he has his good and bad points.

blessed, I know when Austin went missing and Norm refused to put anything in the paper about it I wrote him a very pointed letter, perhaps I wasn't the only one.

Many people (don't know for a fact, but am assuming) wrote letters and thank God they did, he responded.

blessed, you are more than welcome. sure wish we could do more to bring that child home.
It truely pains me to say that Norm has done some good things on the website, I'd like to know what pressure was brought to bare, it certainly was NOT his idea. Did you know they now have the leagals on the site, that's where you'll find any upcoming meetings about such things as SPLOTS and not have to buy the paper, if you don't have it delivered.

Norman doesn't need to write any viewpoints, but whoever wrote it was 110% correct. You are a bunch of pathetic little gossip sluts and it obviously bothered you that your bunch was humiliated in the newspaper that way. Otherwise you wouldn't be on here whining about it.
His coverage has been the driving force behind putting this town on the map. It isn't his fault that his work has benefitted the good people of the county and not the bottom feeding scum that run these forums or the scum that occupy them.
When someone is on top you always have a few losers that are jealous and want to tear them down. Well around here Cooper is the lead dog. And if you're not the lead dog, YOU'RE JUST SNIFFIN @$$!!!

"Bluntness is a lost art Thank God for an editor who tells it like it is. The bluntness of his editorial this week will be hard from (sic) some to take, because often times the truth hurts."
Okay, if Norm didn't write this how could someone comment on an editorial that had yet to be printed?? Not to mention the requisite typo and grammitacal errors. Personally, I NEVER read that tribe!!
Ahhh, fullmoon, was that your viewpoint?? gossip sluts, guess you're in good company since you're posting here!! Not sure the "world" reads the NGA rag?
I'm not sure about YOU, but I know that I am a very intelligent person of moral fiber and have been very responsible with reguard to my community.
Dogs and their @$$'$, I suppose you're the one to speak to about that? (were you sniffing?) I do agree with part of your last comment, Cooper..the..dog, thanks for clarifying that for all of us!! LOL
I do believe this town was on the map long before Normmie got to town, it is after all the county seat, oh yes, but now it's know for other things... to be continued...

I kind of figured this post would draw you out of the wood work. Put your reading glasses back on and go back and read my post, I thought his idiotical rant was hilarious! It's amusing to know that he reads the posts on this site. (Hi Norm!) Normie is FAR from the top of the stack, the sad thing is that everyone but him knows it. He just can't stand it because the good citizens of the county have websites where people can post their differing opinions. Norm can dish it out, but it's very obvious that he can't take it. It's easy for him to sit behind his desk and type out viewpoints to put in the paper, but he doesn't have the guts to post his opinions on here.

And BTW, believe it or not I'm not totally anti-Norman. He has done some things that have helped the community. Even though he likes to toot his horn about it he is very active in the red cross, and I commend him for that.
