hello,
soon im back in usa, for the 10. time, i think thats enough to celebrate an bit ;D
how do an swiss comes to blairsville & helen?? its 4710 miles away!
well, i make knives&tools and the biggest kniveevent, the www.bladeshow.com is held in atlanta. if i travel that fare i want stay and rest an bit so i asked the tourist info for brochures, funny back then in swiss stoneage without internet
got them and read about an bavarian style village called helen only 2 houers drive away. there i have to go, the sea is way to long drive, remember, swiss is tiny, from one border to the other thats maybe an 3 houer drive...
so i found helen, could not bellive what i found, nesteled in the "mtns", i call them "flatties". new home! better than the original!
from there i work the area, found vogel sp and bville, later the bville forum and now, after all those years, many now about me, some i not eaven now LOL.
what i found are verry nice, friendly, helpful people living in an great area, love the nature, traveled the world and never found like that.
