Has anyone noticed how the other website is changing to follow this one's lead. Except for the openess of course. They have a whole thread in their forum listing things they are considering adding to their forum and most of them are things that are already available here. They did say they would not be adding karma. That's probably good, but it shows they've been looking at this site.

I did not see that. Under what topic is this listed?

Oh, I'm sure they thought of all those proposed new changes long ago and didn't need us. Someone sent me a message quoting things they were saying about us over here. It really doesn't matter to us. We don't view them as competition any more than the "New York Times" views "Good House Keeping" as competition. I would encourage you not to spend time defending this forum over there and save yourself some harrassement. But of course if they attack an individual forum member than they attack all of us.

I think people seem to be offended because First Amendment Rights are allowed over here, where as they aren't tolerated elsewhere.
What's is funny is some of the very ones acting offended, are posting here under an "alias".
I like both boards they each offer something different and interesting.

Right on! Their comments over there are pretty silly. Obviously they are ruffled. They sound about like Lamar in one of his county talks. What's the deal with the three websites they keep talking about? Where are they and why would you need three? And by the way we can post graphics in our posts unlike what they say over there.

Neither forum is overwhelmed with posters. Why don't more people post?

Voce. You're off base. Wranger does not own this site. He has been a long time poster on the other site and now he posts on this site. It is true that the discussions about this site on the other one probably did give us some publicity in the past, but I'm sure everyone over there has seen this site by now. I stand by my statement about usernames. Where did you get that from? It is true that some posters have more than one username, but I am not included in that group. Fascinating article though.

Nowhere did I say Own, this Site is for all of Us afterall, right?
But the Connection is well-known. This is one of many Sites that FairPlay, Wranger, and others have promoted (not Owned) as a Free Voice (My Name, as well).
There is no Shame in it, why do you Hide the Truth?

Admin said: I stand by my statement about usernames. Good, one should Always stand by their Statements. Would 4WheelMomma stand by your Statement, too?

I've said my Part here. Thank You for your Time.
People need the Truth. Both about Lamar and about Those who need a Site for Free Voice. Anything else is a Double Edged Standard.
