We like the small talk round here. But we gotta let the political hounds have their say over in their part of the town. Come on over to the law office and bring the Marshall some sweet tea in a mason jar and talk a while.

Small talk and chit chat are a natural part of our daily lives.
I don't do politics, so no danger of my goin' over on the 'wrong side of the tracks' and gettin' into trouble..hahaha..j/k!!

I agree, ruby... there is enough turmoil in this life without looking for more. I used to be politically active but found out it just raised my blood pressure. I'd rather chit-chat and drink sweet tea!

There's the marshall looking for freebies.
He's not a bad guy and form what I have figured out he likes to spank people.
He does a good job though.
As for the other forum, they have it tough trying to please everyone. But I believe they are going to moderate themselves right out of business.
I would much rather go online and get a true feeling about how things are in a place then be fooled by warm and fuzzy ideas. Most people are smart enough to realize if a poster is just whining or has a true issue.
So here we are.

You are right, it is tough to please everyone. It seems so nice here now, but I am afraid that when a certain poster gets a computer, things might turn nasty again. Especially if I am still on this forum. I hope the marshall can protect me!!

Babe, this here is a prohibitionist town. The contents of the mason jar can only be clear after hours and only if the lawman gets some too.

queenbee, I don't know how to give you the link. But runningbear put some info on this forum that I had discussed on the other forum about how long we could live on our savings. She and one of her friends have jumped on me on the savings forum pretty badly, saying all kind of bad things about me. It was the most talked about blog of the month, with all the saving people coming to my rescue.
She even hinted on the other forum that my husband does something illegal?? I have no idea what she is talking about, but she got away with it.
