It hit an all time low of $15.22 the other day but it has rebounded a bit and is back up to $15.88

I just don't trust the stock market with things being as shaky as they are now!

Me neither, I don't have any extra money to invest so it doesn't affect me either way. I've learned that the easiest way to double my money is to fold it in half and put it back in my pocket!

That's just the tip of the iceberg. I would say that some of the movers and shakers are working very hard to keep this quiet.

I think the movers and shakers should be very worried that their butts will be moved to a confined facility and their bank accounts will be shaken clean!

IMHO, the best thing that could happen to local commerce is to move and shake some of these folks right on out of town. Let the economy have a chance to breathe in a lawful and legitimate environment and good things happen. Opportunities open up, jobs get created...

I agree with your statement 1983, their stock had rebounded somewhat but now it has dropped to $15.00. To be fair though it's happening at other banks too and not just UCB.

Look on the bright side summerose, our great and fearless leader says that he's going to give each of us around $300 to spend and that will be enough to keep us from falling into a deeper recession. I'm not complaining though, the extra money will come in handy!

Wow, their stock has hit another all time low of $10.46. The bigwigs at the bank will definitely suffer, but the ones who will really suffer are the citizens who invested their hard earned money in UCB stock and are losing their savings. I hope and pray that the leadership at UCB makes the right decisions to keep their business afloat, for the sake of the shareholders.

At the risk of sounding crass, as other banks are divesting of underperforming ass-ets, UCBI should be divesting itself of underperforming ass-h***s.
