We have a very established writers club that meets the second wed. of the month at St Francis church. We meet at 10:00 am in the double wide behind the church. It's a place to crtique your work and you can listen to a lot of interesting stories and poems. No dues, no officers just good fellowship. Come join us.

I would love to join, but I work at those hours. It seems I miss out on a lot of the group/community activities becasue they are held during the day. I have a book I am writing posted on a website in Texas, I currently have writer's block and haven't added to it in awhile.
St. Francis seems to have a lot going and seems ot be a great church. I like that.

I was a member of this group when I lived up there. Very nice group of people, lots of great information, and well worth your time if you are a writer. Some of you may know my writing, but if anyone is interested, you can read some of it at www.dorothytaylor.blogspot.com I also write a humor column for a regional magazine here. It is written from the perspective of a very southern, very opinionated, very tough older woman. Her name is Gran'ma Gertie. If you would like to "meet" her, go to www.granmagertie.blogspot.comI would appreciate any comments!
