Tulip, hunny dug out one of those maps. I guess it was some project the mayor had with local businesses a couple years ago. It looks like a good quality map. It has all of the city and part of the county on it...

I just bet you could request the Chamber of Commerce to mail you one.

I had to buy one from the Chamber of Commerce a couple years ago. It is pretty good quality. I think it was about $2 and is of all Union County

Tulip, did you find a map yet?? No, thanks for asking. My SIL will there permanently tonight, so once they are settled, I will send her on errands. I still have that one if she wants it... let me know!

Don't know, but I believe it's so. Just have him call JW Payne's office and ask them

There are some stipulations for vets and free tags... my hubby was one and he didn't get a free tag. I can't remember just what the qualifiers are, though... sorry.

I need a phone number for a home trash pick-up service around Blairsville that is reliable. Thank you.

Bee, they don't service all of Union County for home pick up... I don't use a service. It's so much cheaper to make a run to the transfer station now and then. Sorry I can't help you, intown.

We take ours to the transfer station too. Lots cheaper and just takes a minute. Might not be convenient for those without a truck.
