11:00PM Wednesday 9 July 2008
Tom's surgery started around 3:30 PM today, surgery was completed at around 7:00PM or so.
Surgery went well. Time will tell. Didn't seem to be as bad as first diagnosed. That's really all I can tell you right now. Family is holding up pretty good.

Prayers needed for my DIL and unborn Grandbaby. God knows all about it, so I'm not going into detail...just need all you prayer warriors praying!!! Prayers for a multitude of community needs. Ruby that is so sad. Was she the young mother? Prayers for all and praises for the good report on Tom. She was Ana. Her MIL and I were good friends in HS, and even tho we don't see or speak to each other often these days, I still consider her a dear friend. Prayers continue for Tom and his Family..was great to read the news about him this morning!! |

Prayers needed for one of my co-workers husband. He was crushed today in an accident involving a road paver (I believe that was the machine). Anyways, it crushed his pelvis and a leg is broken. He's in severe pain and as far as I know right now, he'll be admitted into a nursing home for pain management but they are trying to get the meds ok'd for home use. My co-worker will be out of work for quite some time. Hey Babe, thanks for the post!! That's my uncle.  |

Prayers for Mary Nell Hughes' family. Mary Nell passed away this afternoon following a courageous battle with the demon we all know as cancer.
