Habemus Papam—We Have a "Black" Pope!!
The Jesuits were founded for 2 basic reasons:
1. Enforce the Bull of Pope Alexander VI that strictly prohibits any nationality but Spanish from visiting the New World without a license.
2. Use the vast New World gold and silver to subjugate the entire world to the Spanish Inquisition.

Pope Alexander the VI. Yeah, he was a real party animal! Was both father and lover of Lucrezia Borgia, and used to throw orgies at the Vatican. When Girolamo Savonarola openly criticized Alexander VI for turning the Vatican into a brothel, the Pope had him declared a heretic and executed. Google "Ballet of the Chestnuts" for more of the lurid details.
When he wasn't humping his own daughter, Pope Alexander VI brokered the Treaty of Tordesillas between Spain and Portugal in 1494. This treaty "authorized" both nations to claim any non-Catholic lands as their own and to stamp out the existing indigenous government in order to replace it with Catholic rule.
