I am asking again.
I received a call at 6:00 this morning that my cousin, his wife & young son died in a house fire.
Several more good people, lost this week.
I am not doubting my spirituality, nor am I doubting God.
I just want to know WHY the good people (Nora, My family, Meredith Emerson) are the ones?

Oh Bee, how awful. Where are they from? Here? I'm so sorry. It's hard not to question things like this happening.

Oh no, Bee! I am so sorry to hear this. I will be praying for you, and your family. I know what you mean about the why's. Our family lost a few young members over the years, and the why's are always there, even with faith they are there, we cannot deny them. We don't have the answers. Only He does, and maybe one day we will know. All I can say, at times like these, is that the world loses special people, but God adds to his choir of angels.

No problem at all Maddy. I appreciate the concern.
They lived in South Georgia below Macon. All of my family lives there. I only get to visit 1 or 2 times a year.

Here is a weirdness factor to add in...
I always wait a few seconds when a light turns green, to make sure that everyone has stopped. It drives my husband nuts. Now that a friend has died as a result of speeding, I am trying to be more aware of the way I drive.
I was explaining to lilred this morning, on the way to school, that we need to always do our best, everyday, 100% and live for God because we just never know when our time might come, using the unfortunate accidents this week, to make my point.
Well, I was sitting at the Texaco on 19/129, waiting to cross over to the school and talking to lilred. The light turned green and she said "GO". I told her "No. let's just wait a second." About that time a full size, long bed, log truck, empty trailer, busted through the light, so fast, from the Murphy direction, that you could only see the truck was red. He didn't break the plane, the light had been red, he was flying.
I looked at lilred and she looked at me and then I eased on thought the light. We calculated that if I had gone when they light turned green he would have hit on her side, near the gas tank and it would have probably killed us.
I think the lady behind me at the light, who was impatient for me to go, is probably glad that I didn't.
You will probably see a letter referencing this truck in letters to the editor in the next few weeks, cause I would really like to get a hold of that driver.

Bee, I am so sorry for your loss. I also know how the questioning thing feels. Sometimes, things just don't seem fair. You and yours will be in my thoughts and prayers.

You will be in my prayers bee. I used to hear all the time "Don't question God", but why should we not? God doesn't get ticked off if we ask "why", we may or may not get an answer but I believe it's okay to ask.

God tell's us to come to him as little children.
We can ask why? We might not get the answer we want, but we can ask.

Nora was a good Christian and lived it in her life everyday. It was even mentioned in the newspaper article when they interviewed the school.
Beverly got Allen to church and he was saved and they lived a Christian life.
I rest easy knowing where they all are.
