$2.81 at the Shell station at the light in town. You mean $3.81? ? I got it for 3.79 out towards Young Harris, then when I went by Mulky Gap, both of them were 3.79... also saw 3.89 at the Union/Towns line. I am sure they will all be higher by morning

Kinda thought this was neat, and an odd kind of hmmm... Sounds to me like people are beginning to get back to their roots. I've always said that many of the "old ways" weren't so bad! I thought the last line was funny. High gas prices drive farmer to switch to mulesWed May 21, 7:51 PM ET MCMINNVILLE, Tenn. - High gas prices have driven a Warren County farmer and his sons to hitch a tractor rake to a pair of mules to gather hay from their fields. T.R. Raymond bought Dolly and Molly at the Dixon mule sale last year. Son Danny Raymond trained them and also modified the tractor rake so the mules could pull it. T.R. Raymond says the mules are slower than a petroleum-powered tractor, but there are benefits. "This fuel's so high, you can't afford it," he said. "We can feed these mules cheaper than we can buy fuel. That's the truth." And Danny Raymond says he just likes using the mules around the farm. "We've been using them quite a bit," he said. Brother Robert Raymond added, "It's the way of the future." news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20080521/ap_on_fe_st/odd_mule_farming_3

Well if EVERYBODY would start riding their bikes, I would run mine, and I would not get killed on the Murphy hwy.

I saw a bike at wally world, it is th eold fashoined girls bike with the WIDE PADDED seat, just what I need. $65.00. However it is 21 miles to work one way. I have to be there at 9:00. I would have to leave my house at 5:00 in a.m. to get there and still have to call 911 for oxygen.
I am serriously looking for a scooter.

That's right, ding-ding get out of my way. And a basket, for my little dog.
I sure wouldn't want to be the one behind me, watching me trying to pedal uphill. I will get cussed worse than those bikers across the mountain and the view from behind me would be uuhhmmmm TREMENDOUS. IF YOU KNOW WHAT I MEAN........

Alright for us on the North end of the county we need to start a car pool to go to town, sounds drastic but we could do it. Better yet if all you yos yos would stop driving we could ride our bikes down the Murphy Hwy.

If you are sick of Congress shooting this down go to www.AmericanSolutions.com. (Bee & Maddy no snide remarks, he's a friend.) Watch the video and sign the petition. You don't have to send any money, just make your voice heard. Thanks.
