I wasn't ignoring you BB, I didn't know you got that one too.
It looks really easy, until you have to decipher the pattern.
Hurry up with the puhple one.

I get a few craft newsletters... have for years. The way my hands are hurting right now, I don't know when I will get back to the puhple one! I haven't looked at the pattern, yet, but really like the ones that are challenging! I will have to go look at it.

I hear it calling you and I am way up here. Besides, picking up stuff and putting it into your cart will be good PT for your shoulder.

I'm sure Mr. Tulip is happy... but a good ol' craft supply fix is always a treat!

I had tools and saws but sold everything when I moved to the mountains. If anyone on here is as old as me, you might remember as a kid having a picture of Jesus on a thin piece of wood with the bark all around it. My mom has mine someplace and I can't find another anywhere. There are a couple on Ebay but they look pretty bad. I would like to find someone who could make that for me. It would go good in our log home. If forgot to tell you Bee. As much as I dislike Wal-Mart, had to go there for deodorant & a movie and turned around to find the above wood with the bark on it. I bought all that they had in stock! I'm so excited. Now I can carve and do a little woodburning on them.

There you go. As long as you are there you might as well take advantage of what they offer.

Well finished up a crocheted edging on a baby blanket and started trying to finish another one. Playing catch up I guess.

Broke out the sewing machine last night and lilred experimented making pillow cases. Stitched her a skirt right quick and researched headband sewing patterns, great way to use scraps. Cleaned out a few quilting and sewing books to sell.

LOL.... I actually need to get some more of the puhple yarn.... good thing it is a "no dye lot" from Caron. It is also on sale for only $5 for the one pound stuff that I am using, so yippppeeee! Just got to figure out what color I want to do next so my order is over $25.

I have been working on it when hunny is fiddlin'... the pattern called for 43 ounces and I have 3 - 16 ounce skeins... but after finishing one, I know it will not be long enough if I only use 3! I ordered 2 more "puhple" and 3 forest green for my next afghan. I sure hope 3 will be enough! I must be crocheting looser than normal! I'll have to check my gauge again!

I went to Michael's today and only got 2 skeins of cotton yarn and another Q hook this one has a shorter handle. Lilred got a tye dye kit so tomorrow I will have a mtching bandanna and bootie socks and her daddy will have a very colorful pair of drawers. He is so excited. Got a cool book on making tops, skirts and other things from old t-shirts and it doesn't involve a lot of complicated terms. Got a small herb bible. 1 wooden cross for a pattern. Ribbon jewelry kit. Pretzel stick mold with flowers and a bag of yellow chocolate melting chips. It's a good thing I live in a small town and don't like driving great distances. Cause I would have to have a 2nd shift job jst to support my spending
