OK new project I am starting. Q hook, variegated yarn.
Making a drawstring net bag. Easy pattern and should work up quick.
We will see.

How's that drawstring bag coming along? Are you using cotton thread? I made a tote bag once using twine I bought at Ace Hardware. It's nylon of some sort and ended up with a really sturdy bag! My yarn arrived today from Joann.com. Hunny and I went to his parents' so he could fix a lamp. I took my puhple afghan and got 2-3 more rows done. At the rate, I might have it done by Christmas!

I have one row on the bag done and switched over to the dishrag I am making for the swap. Of course, as you know, you can never have just one crochet project at a time going.

Since I was not driving when I went to Franklin today, I took the puhple afghan and worked on it on the way over and back. Got about 5-6 rows done. I can finally see some real progress!

I know what you mean with the achy hands BB.
I have thought about getting some of those compression gloves with half off the finger part cut off for each finger on the glove, for people who do crafts.

That yarn I like to use is on sale, too! But I have enough in my stash to last for quite awhile so I am NOT going to look again!

I got 2 crocheted items from Tulip and they are so cute. A pair of crocheted dishrags stiched to gether to like like britches and another one scrunched up with a pipe cleaner and looks like a butterfly. Lilred hug them on the kitchen wall, to pretty to be used.
I finished my 2 and started a 3rd one. Hopefully I can get them "hand delivered" soon.
Picked up a crochet magazine at Books A Million because of a brain storm. So I have a new project in mind. To go with the thousand other projects I have in mind.

Random Stripe Generator I wrote this script to generate random stripe patterns for knitting sweaters, scarves, blankets, etc. It'll give you an idea of what the finished sweater will look like, but it still leaves some unpredictability to the stripe pattern. Try it out by entering your colors and desired stripe widths below: www.kissyourshadow.com/stripe_maker.php
