Or like when he talks about become the sports editor at the sentinel. The sentinel had small stretches of being decent, but every time there was someone good there they always moved on pretty fast. I don't know if I'd crow about being the first sports editor there. It will be BS, just like what we're hearing now. |

Agreed Normal. Cooper is a great journalist and this county has no idea how lucky it is to have him. No one the Sentinel has ever produced, ESPECIALLY PUTNAM has EVER held a candle to his work. I'm thankful that he presents the news to us the way it should be! Our county leaders do a great job and we need someone like him to make sure everyone knows it!
GOOD RIDDANCE to those who will NEVER live up to him.

There are a number of good people in Union County who see and understand what Liemore and Norm do.
And, these good folks are attempting to call their fellow citizens attention to the fact their commissioner distorts facts and presents down right untruth about their costs for government and the services rendered through its operation.
To the people engaged for better government for Union County I say thank you.

What do you know? You who support candidates who abscond with people's money and those who call themselves journalists but leave for Atlanta when they can't cut it in a REAL newspaper town like Blairsville.
The newspaper is the ONLY news here. Whether you like him or are a slim few who don't, you all read his stuff. That newspaper would fold without him.

Cooper on the other hand is very respected and has won many awards.
