Message From Ron Paul12-4-7 Want to know a secret? There were two moments I especially enjoyed at the CNN/YouTube debate -- despite my frustration at some of the questions, and the maldistribution of time. First, I was pleased at John McCain's attack, which he clearly had planned. Not because that sort of stream-of-consciousness nonsense about Hitler and WWII -- when the neocons openly want what they call WW IV! Are we to forget that the first war crime charged at Nuremberg was waging aggressive war? I mean this: mainstream politicians NEVER attack an opponent they think is far behind. The McCain campaign, we've heard, is worried sick about New Hampshire, and they thought a slam at me would help. Ha! Of course, it only strengthened our forces. Then, after the debate, Rudy Giuliani walked up to me and said, "Oooh, you sure have a LOT of supporters." It's only the beginning, I told him. Indeed, he could have told that by the crowd outside after the debate. Mitt Romney had a few people, but no one else did. We, on the other hand, had about 500 enthusiastic revolutionaries, plus a boat, a trolley, and two planes towing lighted signs. As I looked out at the crowd, I thought: the establishment has no idea of what they are facing. We have an army of freedom, prosperity, and peace. As the LA Times political blog noted the other day, the British also thought they had no problem with the Americans--until Yorktown. But we have an astoundingly short time before the first contests. The Iowa caucuses are on January 3, the New Hampshire primary is on January 8, and Nevada and South Carolina are both on January 19. We have only 30 days to stake our claim to the nomination, and to the new America that restores the ideals of the founders, and leads the world through free enterprise, a sound dollar, the rule of law, and peaceful example. Not through inflation and bombs. Help me surprise the neocons and all the establishment with our success. Help me build the foundation for the America we all want. Send your most generous contribution: www.ronpaul2008.com/donate. The military-industrial complex, the biased media, the big banks, the Fed, the waterboarders, and the IRS don't like what we're doing. But every good American is applauding us, and daring to hope for a better future. Please, help me give it to them, to us, to all Americans to come. Keep this revolution growing and winning: www.ronpaul2008.com/donate. Sincerely, Ron The Ron Paul 2008 Presidential Campaign Committee www.rense.com/general79/message.htm

Pimp and Pros Pitch Paul for Prez Posted Dec 5th 2007 3:45PM by TMZ Staff Filed under: Wacky and Weird
Hillary and Obama might court the unions and the NEA for their endorsement, Romney and Rudy the NRA and the Christian right, but only one candidate is truly getting whored-out in his campaign for president.
That, of course, is Ron Paul, the Libertarian GOP hopeful (and prohibitive underdog), who has procured the ass-istance of perhaps the most famous legal brothel in the world -- Northern Nevada's BunnyRanch -- and its proprietor, Dennis Hof. In fact, TMZ has obtained an appeal from Hof to American voters, which Hof hopes will, as he puts it, "lubricate Ron Paul's path to the White House."
Unfortunately, Paul isn't on board with the program, because when we called his campaign manager to ask about the pimp support, he didn't sound too happy about it.
Mark Elam says that Congressman Paul "didn't solicit" Hof and his hoes -- certainly not their business, nor their political support. He tells us that, to his knowledge, Hof and Rep. Paul haven't met, nor does Paul sanction any form of prostitution.
As the libertarian-leaning candidate, Paul has been vocal in his support of states' rights, which, naturally, are amenable to the BunnyRanch and its business. Still, Paul is also strongly pro-life.

I believe you are uninformed "B" Please share your source of information. I believe if you are pregnant and want to be Un-Pregnant, that Ron Paul, as a gynecologist, wouldn't kill your baby and that he would keep the Federal Government out of your business if ,you wanted to kill your baby.
I think, he thinks, it is the females choice.

Ron Paul website:
Life and Liberty The right of an innocent, unborn child to life is at the heart of the American ideals of liberty. My professional and legislative record demonstrates my strong commitment to this pro-life principle.
In 40 years of medical practice, I never once considered performing an abortion, nor did I ever find abortion necessary to save the life of a pregnant woman.
In Congress, I have authored legislation that seeks to define life as beginning at conception, HR 1094.
I am also the prime sponsor of HR 300, which would negate the effect of Roe v Wade by removing the ability of federal courts to interfere with state legislation to protect life. This is a practical, direct approach to ending federal court tyranny which threatens our constitutional republic and has caused the deaths of 45 million of the unborn.
I have also authored HR 1095, which prevents federal funds to be used for so-called “population control.”
Many talk about being pro-life. I have taken direct action to restore protection for the unborn.
As an OB/GYN doctor, I’ve delivered over 4,000 babies. That experience has made me an unshakable foe of abortion. Many of you may have read my book, Challenge To Liberty, which champions the idea that there cannot be liberty in a society unless the rights of all innocents are protected. Much can be understood about the civility of a society in observing its regard for the dignity of human life.

"B" Thank You.
I think I understand him to say, under him the Federal Government would be out of the abortion business and that if the folks in Atlanta were to let Lie More open a baby killing clinic there in Blairsville, that would be the State of Georgia's business and would be no business of Uncle Sams.
I think months back I posted, I didn't want to kill babies and that the mother had the choice of killing her child but, that she shouldn't expect the rest of society to pay for it.
I know doctors who used to do it, but got to where they just couldn't do it any more. It wears on you.
If one of my teenage grand daughters were pregnant and wanted to kill my great grand baby. I'd be praying and crying and squalling with her but, it would still be her choice and she would still be my grand baby. The rest of society has no say in it!!!

Bet cha' the family of those shooting victims up north at the mall wished that the shooter had been aborted instead a donation to the state.

wrong bee-it's not a gender issue. women prefer to think it only involves them but they are in error. It's a human issue and as such involves both genders; although I will admit most men would prefer the woman to abort so they don't have to support the kid. A lot of men abdicate their responsibilities in dealing with this issue, not me.
I admit there are side issues involving abortion but I believe they can be dealt with through consensus. Blanket abortion is wrong and will always be wrong.
