I'm afraid that in this case you are the one that doesn't make sense. Not that I think less of you. His response was the best possible to the question, it seems to me. And I like everybody else knows a lot more about his platform than anybody else's. When and where have the other candidates published any part of their platform other than very generic statements?

It doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure this out. The Phantom is the candidate that Lamar and crew is most afraid of, so it is the only one they are attacking. He's afraid because clearly the Phantom is the most intelligent of the candidates and because he's a mystery and Lamar doesn't like not knowing something. Especially when it's something alot of people are talking about.

Ok, but again, am I really the only one that appreciates how stupid you people are? You're trying to get this person elected and you call him "the Phantom." You should be praying that this doesn't get out widespread into the public, because it will just make him seem like a joke. People want someone to run their county, not a villain that Batman should be fighting.
Now I realize that the deeply stupid people will say I'm just afraid of him winning and that I love liemar, blah blah, yackady smackady. But if you think that, please re-read my post very carefully, and keep in mind that you people haven't successfully filled a significant elected position here in this county in quite some time. Maybe it isn't because people dont' like republicans. Maybe it is because you don't know what the Hell you are doing.

As for me the stupids of the world is why the world is screwed up. I don't appreciate them and say put them in a rocket ship and fly them to the moon. Also the stupids put the commish in office the second time and will again if they have their way, just goes to show there's a lot of stupid democrats out there also. And I'm not necessarily a republican, but will vote for anyone in the democrat primary against the present commish and then may change my vote in the general election. I'm beholden to anyone for less government and less taxes. The government doesn't do a thing for me here in union county except keep the criminal element down. other than that I don't get anything from the government, all I do is give by force to support the government. |

And you are irritable, self-righteous, and foul mouthed. I am not trying to get anyone elected right now. I don't know who the phantom is so how could I support them? Nor am I stupid enough to insult someone I don't know. For all I know the phantom could be W.C. Nelson.
Finally the Republican Party of which I am not an official member is doing things much different than they have in the past. Is that not what they needed to do?

I'll say it once to be fair: We invented the "Phantom Candidate" label. If you go back and look at the BBQ speech, there was no mention of the phantom. We hope we didn't cause them any harm, but then again we say whatever we want here. And they chose to do their Q & A on this site. You don't like the Phantom, then complain to Admin and the site owners. Stop calling forum members stupid.
Two more important notes: 1. The Republican Party does not run this site and cannot endorse any candidates till after the Primary. 2. The Phantom of the Opera lived in a different era as Batman.

Admin did make one very good point. The Phantom is not a creation of the Republican Party. 98% of the Party (meaning those who attend meetings faithfully) doesn't even know who the mystery candidate is. Even when the party does know, it will certainly not endorse them no matter who they are, until after the Primary and maybe not even then. There will be more than one Republican horse in the primary race. They are and will run their own campaigns and create their own strategies independent of the Republican Party.

omik-I'm not gonna get in a 3rd grade spitting contest with you as it is obvious you are somewhere in the elementary level of intelligence. Suffice to say there are many in the forums on this site that support candidates other than the present commish but I get the impression they lean more toward the libertarian or independent view than the republican, although there are some republicans as well democrats here. Some even as fanatical and rabid as you, but they usually present their views with good posts, unlike you.
