OK, I have reviewed both sites.
Justin; do away with the Dixie music. I am as much a true southerner as anyone but it makes you look too southern.
Are those laugh tracks? because it sounds fake and cuts off to quick, doesn't fade.
I didn't see the following on your Platform page:
where does your platform stand on the alcohol vote? where does your platform stand on a multi-commissioner board?
A question: Why shouldn't senior citizen's tax be based on their property value instead of their age? If they can afford 5+ acres and a huge home then they can certainly afford more tax then a elderly couple living in a single wide on an acre of land?

I would hate that also, but there are several classes of senior citizens in the area. All factors should be taken into consideration.
I have heard this but not sure if it's a fact or not: If you own a home in Florida and a 2nd home elsewhere aren't you exempt from some kind of tax on the 2nd home? Probably not true.
If the current cost of land had been driven up due to the fact that people are retiring here and paying higher cost, then why should they receive the same breaks as a senior couple who doesn't have a retirement income and has lived here forever?
Years ago we lost our rural status and "state benefits" when the area was re-designated as a retirement area, not rural anymore.
I don't see a large amount of tax breaks for retirees as a benefit to the community. It would only draw senior citizens who aren't interested in commerce, just tax free living. They have already did their part in the work force and want to enjoy their retirement.

It is in the dusty recesses of my mind.
If you own a primary home in one state and have a vacation or second home in another state, you are exempt from some sort of state tax. We were discussing it a long time ago about homes in North Carolina and the guy said he thought it was the same in Georgia.
I forgot to ask Justin where he stands on the Wal-Mart issue?

So far I see nothing wrong with Justin or Tony's platform.
I just hope he will post here or modify his platform about the issues I brought up.
Alcohol, Wal-Mart and Senior taxes.

Justin's own words: We already have the phantom and he seems to be very capable, though I have not yet met them. I will soon know as he has asked for a meeting with me and a few other Republican board members, later on today. My point is: if he will lie about this, he will lie about other things. You're the only one calling him a liar moonie, no one else so far is saying that (except your pals). And you have no credibility here, so why do you even post. Will ignore the one who speaks with no knowledge. You are trying the same tactics of calling everyone a liar that you and your kind used on Harold Cook in 2000. You need your mouth washed out with soap. Bubba, if credibility is a requirement for posting on this forum, a lot of people would have to stop posting. Who is to say which posters have credibilty? It would be a form of censorship that you do not want! If someone posts the same thing over and over and over, just ignore their posts!

"I do not have a gripe in the world about someone disagreeing with me on the SPLOST issue or any other issue. I may not understand why they choose to believe the way they do but that is their perogative." -Bluemoon
"You can disagree with me on the splost, that's your perogative" - Lamar Paris at the final splost meeting.
Why don't you just fess up Moon? And I see you joined the conspiracy crowd.
This old Democrat very much liked what Justin had to say, and likes what Tony has to say.

have decided that moonie and omikron are one and the same. birds of a feather that smell together. Don't get the moons confused, bubba. It's the fullmoon and omikkron that are one and the same. Stand strong for us Justin! And Tony and Gene and anyone else who is brave enough to face down Lamar.

Haha, trust me, Bluemoon and I are not the same person.
I don't even post in here that much. I merely stop by on occasion to tell you how stupid an idea is.
Case in point: The phantom.
Dumb. Dumb. Dumb.
Silly might be the better world. Or ridiculous. Childish.
I just tried to tell you goofs from the start that it would never work.
Surprise surprise, it didn't. And the candidate bowed out.
It would have saved a lot of trouble if you/he had listened to me from the start and not embarrassed yourselves.
Or did he bow out at all? Are the moon boys right? Was Justin the phantom? Seems suspicious to me.
Is this the last we've heard of this masked man?
Will Zorro announce his candidacy next? So many exciting possibilities!

Just watched all the vote melick videos and this old Republican has to admit, that I became emotional. This is what we have been waiting for 20 years!
If Justin were the Phantom, he could have made it work. Don't know many other people who could have. And so I believe him.
I think the Phantom served a great purpose, by annoying Lamar.
Now Lamar is really concerned and that's why his people are on here calling a good person a liar. Now that's ridiculous.
And Moon, the timing was too hard to swallow? The Phantom said he was going to make an announcement not announce. When else would his replacement announce?

I would say that a young, religious, former military commissioner might be what we need.
He might be able to make the right, strong decisions for our county. He is young enough to see the future and what it might bring and has enough "wordly" experiences to see the past and learn from it.
However, how tied to his party will he be? Will they be able drop all the attachments if he is elected or do they feel that since they got him elected they are entitled?
