I thought we were gonna get a good shower this afternoon when it was thundering, but all we got was a light sprinkle... not even enough to get the driveway wet!

Just hope it doesn't rain Sunday afternoon... we are planning a family cookout for hunny's dad! He's been celebrating Father's Day for over 70 years (his oldest child is 71 years old!) and he's been married to the same woman for all those years! Youngsters should take a clue from them as to how to make a marriage last!

BB, Hunny's Dad was in the store just the other day...gettin' some gas for the lawn mower. It's been a while since both his Mom and Dad have been in...it's so heartwarming to see the older couples together..(and we have a few regulars..50 + years together and counting!), their love for each other still shines after all these years!!!  We got thunder and lightning last night, but no rain. Everything is soooo dry..  |

He doesn't do it much, but it sure keeps them independent! She is happiest when she has her family around her or is digging in the dirt. She loves her flowers! |

Awww! that sounds like my grandma, she was always happiest when in her flowers or veggie garden. I still miss her so much!
