Got a bunch of pictures my sister sent me of the flooding in southern WI. She lives across the street from the Rock River. The flooding there is nothing like the pictures we see from Iowa, but it is the worse they have seen in more than 60 years, and probably a lot longer. Wish we had a little bit of that water here, but definitely not as much as they have!

I miss being able to wash my truck, water the grass and plants. It's ticks me off people break the water bans left and right while I obey it.It makes you want to report them, but I'm not like that.Spent close to 3,000 on a sprinkler system and I haven't ran it in so long I don't know where the sprinkler heads are any more(grass has grown over them).I do take water from inside the house to hit the ferns I have hanging up.
Don't yall remember when we use to say "God,I wish it would stop raining".

I really can't remember when I wish it would quit raining!! Well, maybe the time the creek almost came up to the back door. We got a little thunder a while ago, but now the sun is shining again.

82 right now, 78% humidity. Not too bad, really.
It's been really strange this year so far. The temps don't seem to be quite as high, and the humidity is NOTHING like it used to be! Having humidity levels above 85% every day for the summer was normal. This year, they are way down for some reason. I think the highest I've seen it was 91% one morning when it had been raining. It's been anywhere from 47% to 82%. Not sure what this means, but I do notice the difference.
Looks like I've got rain in the forecast everyday thru the 4th. Rain or not, I'll be on St. Simons Island for the 4th!
