Had a nice downpour just at the time I wanted to go to the grocery, so came up with alternate dinner plans, and will shop tomorrow.

That was quite a storm around 6:30! Knocked the power out for 45 minutes.

We also got rain this morning and the storm this afternoon. We didn't loose power though. All of this rain is really nice.

We only got a few drops off of that one. I was hoping we would get more rain. Baby Girl is at the concert at the Lodge, hope she didn't get wet.  |

Getting some heavy rain here in Covington and my 60 or more Leyland Cypresses can sure use it.I've got a good bit of money invested in them and would hate for them to die.The last ones I bought were 35 bucks a pop.I bought them because of a nosy neighbor.Ya can't beat these things,their suppose to grow an average of 3 feet per year.

Was overcast and nasty looking all afternoon yesterday, then of course the rain started when we wanted to grill. Rain started today around 10:30 am and its been going on all day long. Really wanted to lay out by the pool for a little this weekend, guess that isn't going to happen!
