The high today - 99 degrees!
Right now, it's 93, with a heat index of 105!!
Yep - I'd say it's a bit on the warm side!
Only good thing is the humidity is only 55%

It is thundering here and the wind is very gusty. Sure hope we get some rain!

Taylor and Tulip, I'm sorry you girls are sufferin so in the heat. It is hot up here just a different kind. Hopefully ya'll will cool down a bit.
We are getting the same weather Summer, I just hope we can get some rain to go with all the wind.

Looks like we may be in for some rough weather for the next few hours according to weatherman. Hopefully we will get some rain without the storms.

Summer we got some really nice rain. Slow and steady, the kind we could use for several days to help with the deficit.
Cabin we had a bit of wind up our way, but not as much as yesterday afternoon. When I went to town this morning several signs were turned over or sideways.

I live right in the middle of the woods. I think it was back in 2000 or 2001 we had some straight line winds come through and we lost about half of the trees in our front yard. It was really hard cause we knew that it was something that could not be replaced. |
