You have to love Tony's ad this week. I really believe he's got a great point and believe he will run a good race as this thing shakes out. He's got my vote.

I don't plan on voting for him for a couple of reasons but I'm very impressed by his willingness to go after Liemar and Norm the pooper scooper Cooper. I wonder what the local democrat bigwigs have to say about Tony? They are usually very quick to accuse us republican troublemakers of "mudslinging" when we bring up the truth like Tony did this week.

Andy Williams at UCB told both Gene and Tony that they were making a big mistake and W.C. Nelson told both that they had no chance whatsoever. Gene's big name supporters better get out there for him. Who are they? Gene has a better chance than Tony. All he has to do is work and raise some money.

Oh and Montana, only the most hardcore politcal animals would take the time to read that fine print epistle. Sorry the Dems are still laughing at you and the Republicans have not and will not warm to you. I don't know if Tony has a clue or not about county government but I do know that he doesn't have a clue about what he is doing with his campaign.

Well, generally every candidate has his base, but Tony inspires nobody. Even people who should jump on board because of some of his stances, have no interest. The problem is that Tony is like Lamar, better than all of us, but unlike Lamar, he has no personality to speak of. People would rather take a chance on Gene or stick with Lamar even, then be bored to death. If Tony dropped out, Gene could have a chance. Otherwise Lamar wins the primary.

The Lamar - Dyer newspaper mudfest is getting like the Hillary-Obama contest and people are just going to avoid the Dem primary.

Tony is a good, decent fellow. This is anybody's race to win. Some people may feel entitled, but victory goes to the one who works the hardest, and has the best message.

Justin, I agree with you except, the system is slanted to protect the incumbent. If the powers that be want Lamar to remain in office, he will -and- he can tell you what the election results percentage will be!
This has happened, in Florida, according to congressional testimony, posted elsewhere on this forum.
Our Country is coming apart before our eyes.

Who are they? Gene has a better chance than Tony. All he has to do is work and raise some money. From what I have gathered W.C. Nelson told Tony the opposite, calling him a major candidate, and Tony has not spoken to Andy Williams. The rumors that go round are amazing.
