You trashed our reputation, ruined our image, through out the world. You bankrupted our nation. Erased our southern border. Ruined the world for my grandchildren I know you couldn't have did it with out the votes of ALL those Christians in the Bible Belt but, your friend Carl Rove got those for you There is lots I could say about how you couldn't talk because you stumbled with your foot in your mouth and how you saw our constitution as "Just a god dammed piece of paper" but now you listen, you did get that dam SOB who tried to kill your daddy. It cost billions of dollars and thousands of lives, left other children to grow up without a father,but now Saddam, he's dead. I love you George! |

The only reason that they should have ANY rights under our law is because we detained them, and everyone regardless of whether not they are a citizen or even a terrorist should be innocent until proven guilty. We have already given our government too much power over us and they have used it against us. If we allow them to hold non-citizens without cause then it will just be a matter of time before the same thing starts happening with the rest of us. I don't totally disagree with you bubba but we need to be very careful with what our so called leaders are allowed to do.

Guys,
I think it is an inalienable right, that if you are going to detain somebody you need to tell them why.
If you are at war then, to hell with rules. The only rule that matters is winning. If you have the capacity to destroy life on the planet then win!
This sh*t about turning aside from pursuing Bin laden and going into a sovereign nation and overthrowing it and capturing the leader then writing up a constitution and sitting up laws and courts and making the laws apply retroactively and then hanging the fellow for crimes against a constitution not even in existence when the crimes were committed, smacks of sh*t!

The shira law of the Muslims is despicable! We are better off dead than being Islamic.
But, why the hell can't our leaders tell us the truth! My president has shifted his priority to capturing or killing Bin Laden. The intelligent communities say Bin Laden is already dead. Now some poor rascal who looks like Bin Laden will be captured and held up so my president can say, I got 'em.

You don't need to go to Cuba to cite examples of this. You don't even need to go outside of the county. I know. It happened to me. And it happened to allow criminals (including two with badges and one with a sniper rifle) to not only continue their theft ring unabated, but allowed a deputy with a sniper rifle to take a free shot at me the day I was to testify against the bank officials involved. David Barrett is responsible for this.
As long as people like Barrett are allowed anywhere near a courtroom all the government can be is an enterprise infected by criminals.

I think we are all in agreement, our country is in sh*tty shape.
I think the disagreement comes in perceiving John McCain to be toilet paper!
