First off, the only public record I have is on this forum.


#1-Cooper was NOT at the hearing.

#2-The Judge only said "He has 2 letters in regards to the bonding".

#3-The Judge said NOTHING about rejecting the request because;1- it was not a request, 2-The letters were added to the record to show not everyone agreed with the bonding at the present time, 3-The hearing was a rubber-stamp affair because the hearing was on the validity of whether or not the Commissioner could issue bonds and since the the referendum passed there was never any doubt the Judge would rule in favor of the bonding.

#4-Both letters by Cook and Sims was to put into the court record the fact not everyone agreed with bonds being issued before taxes are actually collected.

After a couple of viewpoints showing the ignorance of the editor and the kind of vile comments he presents to the detriment of Union County, the very next viewpoint is to support his candidate for commissioner.

All one can say is Cooper is a fake, hiding in the mountains of Union County, and is spreading his poison everywhere and is destroying Union County.

He says the timeline and his word proves it. Timelines may count but I wouldn't rely on his word for the following reason:

He gives himself away in this same article by saying, "I started on my letter in July, but waited until Harold's ad on this subject before submitting my letter."

Well mr. bell, the questions begs an answer: How did you know Harold's ad would be in the paper and how did you know the SUBJECT of the ad when both your letter and Harold's ad was in the same issue??

And you want people to believe your word?

mr bell and mr west have a lot of explaining to do in regards to the paper leaking paid ads before publishing, ethics not-withstanding.


This sorry paper is a disgrace to Union County and provides a disservice to the good people of Union County.



Paris would say this is a half truth or a mostly totally mistruth, but most people recognize it for what it is.

how can mr bell say the same thing in his letter that Mr. Cook says in his ad, in the same issue of the local rag, if foreknowledge did not occur?

and why the inconsistencies in the statements of mr bell?

The answers to these questions will shed a light on the purposes of the NGN and who is a dunce and who is not.

The people of Union County want to know why the LEGAL ORGAN does NOT report factual information!

Why should a paper be the LEGAL ORGAN when it shows such obvious bias? and fails to report factual information?

I for one will as of this day not buy, purchase, or enter a business that advertises in the NGN.

I will travel to Hiawassee, Blue Ridge, or Murphy to purchase any goods I need to keep from buying from an advertiser in the NGN.
