Amazing. On page 7A of the June 18th edition of the rag there is an article titled, 'The NGN Policy about letters to the Editor and Viewpoints'. The first paragraph says, " We don't run letters criticizing other publications or fallacious websites with forums for two reasons. Reason #2 There is not enough space Reason #1 Our professional ethics"
Yes, they really claim to have professional ethics. Or rather, that the readers have them because if he's slamming the forums again, the rules obviously don't apply to him.

Of course we are having an impact. Today we are going to break 80,000 hits on the homepage of the mainsite alone, since April 2007. This includes 29,527 unique visitors.

Dispite the front page putting down the new website for North Georgia News, I think it is a good website. Much better than U. Sentinel who have not bothered to update theirs since July 31.

I don't know if the NGN site is good or not, I haven't visited it yet. The sentinel has gotten pretty off track lately when it comes to updating theirs. It's a shame really, it used to be a good newspaper.

I won't be renewing my subscription to the Sentinal. I would like to support that paper, much rather than Norms, but Frank has done nothing but hire/fire and then not hire reporters. You can either be part of the problem, or part of the solution.

There has been interesting news WOM, but I read about it here. And redwine, I don't blame you, I have never even had a subscription to the sentinel but I used to buy it every week back when they had reporters there.

Actually, the NGN website was never put down. We made no comments as to the quality just the level of traffic. Its not a bad website.

Yeah, you can't help but laugh at the fact that Frank Bradley wholeheartedly believes that you don't need reporters or news (or sports, or anything, really) in a newspaper. It was definitely by the grace of God that I was presented with a good job opportunity at just the right time, because once Frank opened up the Fannin Sentinel, I saw the handwriting on the wall that told me things were going to go downhill fast. And it was just a few months after I left that both Dwight Otwell (former editor of the Cherokee Sentinel) and Joan Crothers (former editor of the Towns Sentinel) left too. He didn't replace any of us, and the Sentinel papers are what they are as a result. But Frank was convinced that despite the fact he was losing money on 5 newspapers, opening number 6 was going to be a cash cow for him. Brilliant thinking. It's like someone with massive credit card debt just getting another credit card, thinking that will solve the problem.

I still say Frank is a better journalist than Norm!

No comparison because I wouldn't classify Norm as anything but a pervert. Yet frank is the wimpiest ex marine I ever met!

Truth is much as I enjoy our hokey little paper and it's editor. NGN needs an real journalist-investigative reporter to give us the facts so we do not have to depend on tacky websites like topix and this one for "news", (gossip).

Truth is, this website is more truthful than the paper and entertaining, considering the posts of individuals like yourself

Now, there's an interesting thought. I never thought of the NGN as being a "white" newspaper. Well, DUH, this is Union County. It is like Justin says, "Union County is the most diverse county of white people he has ever seen." And you didn't think I watched his videos.
