Did some clothes shopping today. Found a really cute jacket to wear with slacks for....are you ready for this? ? $5.00. Couldn't turn that bargain down. Bought a pair of shorts for half price and Naturalizer clog style shoes for half price. Hubby found a couple of things too. Every now and then I find some good bargains at Alexander's. Humm, maybe I should go over there. I spend so much there when there is no sale, I guess I deserve a deal. I know Maddy hates Wal-Mart but a few weeks ago we bought hubby several shirts at Alexanders and some tops for me and every one of them were made in another country. I really miss USA made clothes. They're so hard to find anywhere anymore. Yeah! I agree. Nothing we bought today was made in the USA. However, I was pleased that my shoes were at least made in this hemisphere....Brazil. Everything else came from India and Pakistan.

Well Tessa, if you have trouble with your shoes, at least you got a direct line to technical support.

I just got back from Applachian Bank. I converted my two money markets paying 2% into one checking account paying 3.1% Then i took my business account paying 3/4 of 1% and converted that into a checking paying 3.1% interest. The best thing is, you can still use your old checks, keep your old account number and the rate is guaranteed. Minimum balance to get the rate, is $1000.
