Canned more green beans and blackberries. The peaches will be ripe later next month.

I can't seem to make it to the blackberries. The copperheads have been more plentiful around here this year. I am procrastinating a bit especially since it is dog days.

Good on you to the gardeners and canners. I would love to learn to, "put up stuff". We shopped at the farmers market in the new, new courthouse and have been eating fresh cheap veggies and skipping the meat.

I'd be happy to teach you. It is really very easy. What is your occupation?

Spent no money on sales tax for school supplies. Bought clothes and two birthday presents at discount store according to tags, my discounted savings totaled $148.00. Also, used gift card at wal-mart bought $70.00 worth of clothes and only paid $20.00 and no tax. Total savings just at those two stores surpassed what I spent!! ;D

Rescued some play equipment for grand children to play with. ;D Free & gently used, bought new it would be valued around $350.00. Gonna have me some happy children at my house.
