What frugal thing have you done lately?

I just got back from the store, I used coupons, bought a roast on sale and used my advantage card. I saved $9 in all. Then I used that money to buy stuff for the food pantry. However, I will still add the money to my challenge money!!

All our shopping today and just about everything was marked down... some of it was even 70% off!

I really stocked up on soap yesterday. It was on sale and I won't have to buy any for several months!!

Went to Charlie's to look at decorative painting supplies and only spent $2.58 on a stencil and got a free calendar.

Of course I didn't buy anything else, because I already had it all.

I think I am going to start selling some of my craft books, I have well over 300.

Sorry, just checked my alphabetized list and I have over 540 different books on painting and crafts..

Nope, scratch that, I went and took the spaces out of my Excel file and I have 476 plus.
That number is from last year.
Of course I have purchased more since then.

You should set up a shop, sell your art works, etc. and get very rich!!

I wish I could retire and just make a living off of crafts.

I would be a very happy bee.

I also sold $35.00 worth of soap to one person this week.

At $2 a bar that's pretty dog gone good.

Looked at Bi-Lo's ad that starts tomorrow... fryers for 49 cents per pound!

I always buy steak there when it is on sale! I have never bought a fryer??

Well, I figured that, but what do you do with it??

Bake it, cut it up and fry it, cut it up and grill it... make soup, make chicken and dumplings... end results? You eat it!
