I got some a little wildflower left from last year. No problem.
This year's sourwood looks like a totally different honey.
The drought did them good.

Bugger wants a Robotech electronic dinosaur thinger, they are about $99, but I saw it today for only $49, what a steal, but I did not buy it. Bugger would be so mad at me, but what can I say? If I did get it, I would have saved it for his birthday or Christmas.

Well, I know too. I went and bought one of those giant chocolate chip cookies on sale and saved about $4. I will bring it to the party tomorrow night!

Queenbee was easy enought to figure, but I'm still working on Tulip's identity.
Can you pass some of that cookie? I've got a sweet tooth and I'm not talking about Halloween candy.

I was looking at the ad in the paper for the 6% interest, but it looks like you have to jump through all kinds of hoops to get it. I don't use a debit card 10 times per month if you don't you only get 1/2% so I guess I will leave my money where it is.

I saw the ad too and was interested. But you are right, you have to jump thru all those hoops. I don't use the ATM at all. Or a debit card either.

Anothre way we were frugal on our remodeling.
We saved the door from lilred's closet and used it to replace the bathroom door. We also saved the trim we took down from her room and used it to replace some broken trim that we had in the hall.

We sold a bunch of new doors at our garage sale for $5 a piece. We also sold lots of unopened paint!

I would like to have a cleaning person also. Problem is they charge what Gary charges an hour. I have had 5 and none of them did a very good job. If anyone knows of someone good, let me know!

My hubby owns a cleaning service in California and he's bored, he can clean like a charm. Check out my house, between the two of us clean freaks you won't find dirt.
I told this lady I would sell her my blue tooth ear set for $2 today, since I've never used it and it came with my phone. She handed me $10 and told me to keep it. She said she knows what it's worth.
Dang, what is the world coming to? Generous, kind hearted people? Hubby and I just looked at each other and figured we must look indigent, that was soooooooooo nice of her.

Well, my husband always says that I always dress like a bag lady and no one has ever handed me any money!! However, one time, my husband met me at the bank and he had his work clothes on. We wanted to open a money market that paid a high rate of interest. The bank lady told me that we could not open the account because we did not have enough money. (I never told her how much I had)

You are right about that!! Well, when Gary works, he works. He doesn't own any workclothes that don't have paint or caulk, or something on it. They are clean, but the paint does not come out!!
