Good morning family and friends. Tom had a tough day Thursday, fever, coughing. He showed us good signs early that day by following commands. He is still is in a coma. It's hard to believe it's been about 30 days today. I'll keep you posted this weekend. Around Blairsville, I've seen so many signs, bank billboards, flyers, newspapers, etc. concerning the benefit this Saturday at Meeks Park. It's amazing how a community comes together for one of there own. Tom is surrounded with great friends and family. Our thanks go out to all. Just wanted you to know is that I send these emails to over 76 people, I send as a blind copy. much regards, Kenny Wade

God Bless you. You are all doing the right thing, being there chatting him up and playing his favorite music. Familiar stimulation, love and fervent prayer will make Tom well. Neuro-trauma recovery is slow but full of miracles. Much love and many prayers.

I went out of town after the benefit and did not hear the results. Their was sure alot of people there. It was great!!! I have not heard any updates from Kenny today but another cousin who lives in Suchas went there today to see Tom and called my nana and told her he was inproving so much that his sister was washing his face and he grabbed the wash cloth and threw it at her and he was trying to open his eyes but couldn't. I am going to see him on Thursday. If anyone knows how it turned out let me know. I tried to call Tom's sisters tonight but I can't get them... The shirts are really cool. Tom has some really great friends......

Monday 28 July 2008 9:54 PM Great news, I visited with Tom on Sunday, He was following simple commands, (thumbs-up, peace sign, throwing a little football, he makes eye contact). We know he can hear now and see now. He is still fighting pneumonia and is in a coma state. Tom had many friends and family visit him this weekend. There was 2 benefits for him also this past weekend, both went well. There is so many people to thank right now. We don't even know where to begin. We were really excited about Tom's progess this weekend. I'll keep you updated. Much thanks to all. Kenny

I Went to see Tom yesterday we had a good visit. He is still in a coma. His dad said ,4 being as bad as you can be when your in a coma Tom went down to a 2.5. They must have gave him his pain medicine right before we got there because the family said he was not as active as he has been. I was shocked because I thought he was doing good while I was there. He opens his right eye good and tries to open the left one. When he opened his eye and he was looking right where I was, his sister said Tom do you see Jenn and she said point to Jenn and he pointed to me. When I went over to him he would raise his right hand and hold my hand. He wanted to throw his ball alot to me. He gave me a high five and when I was leaving I said I love you Tom and he slowly raised his hand and waved at me. He has a tube in his nose to help drain the stomach virus mess and it seems to get on his nerves cause he tries his best to pull it out. They said he had a rough week still dealing with the pneumonia and a stomach virus. He still has a fever and has to lie on a cold mat. It looks like all the swelling has gone. He looked GREAT, he looks like the Tom we all know minus that wonderful smile he always has on his face. It touched me so much that he responded to me like he did. We had a GREAT visit. I will post new updates as soon as I receive them or hear anything. Thanks for all the prayers; the family is so touched at all the Love that is going out for him. They get teared up talking about it.
