I once spent the night in jail!! I got dropped off at a bus station in N.C. one night and I did not like the people hanging around there, so I walked over to the police station and asked if I could stay there until 6 am, when my bus came. The police were very nice to me and I had a nice cell. Then they drove me in the squad car to the bus station the next morning.. It was just like Mayberry!! (I was 18)

They even took pictures cause they said the day crew would never believe them!! I wonder what the guys on the bus thought when they saw the police helping me onto the bus? They were all soldiers going to camp Lejeune. Probably thought the police were running me out of town.
