Actually it is a very skilled and dangerous sport that is frequently an extreme contact sport. One would be naive to think that driving around a track at speeds over 150 mph requires no athletic skills. Drivers make life altering, split second decisions constantly throughout the race. As far as being centered around rednecks. The largest fan base in the United States belongs to NASCAR. (That is a coast to coast fan base, not a southeast/regional fan base.) This US of A got done went and got them a whole bunch a rednecks. LOL!!! You should check out the divers most of them would not fit that stereotype. ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

Well, jisty/bee no one really expects you and all those voices to understand the complexities of the sport. You just keep drinking and turning left I imagine you will eventually figure out where you are headed. Hopefully before it's too late.

Glad you stopped by Sparkey. Hubby is a die hard Johnson fan. Me, I like most all of them. My #1 guy is Jamie Mc Murray, just because he supports the fight against autism. I can give you a reason why to root for many of the top 12 and I do. Everybody except that darn "Rowdy" Kyle Busch. Just kan't make me like him. I think he is just a Dale Sr wanna be.

I hope admin. don't like him either or I may just be in trouble! LOL

I miss the day's of dirt track racing, no rules or restrictions.
I occasionally go to Tri-County or Sugar Creek for the dirt track experience.
Observing only, no participation.
